Straight answers on how the Art-as-a-Service subscription works, pricing and terms, delivery across North East England, and buying limited-edition prints outright. Can't find what you need? Arrange a consultation and ask us directly.
Art as a Service is a subscription that supplies and rotates curated fine art photography artworks, exclusively by Andrew Pounder, across your offices, hospitality venues or public spaces on a regular schedule, with optional premium framing and a 12-month buy-out.
Businesses, interior designers and hospitality organisations across North East England seeking flexible, high-impact art programmes without large upfront capital expenditure.
Unlike traditional art dealers who act as intermediaries for multiple artists, Andrew is the artist, the curator, and the service provider. When you work with Wall Space North, you are getting 100% original, exclusive imagery — every piece was captured by his own lens, so you aren't buying mass-produced stock or outsourced art.
That's paired with an "insider-outsider" perspective — a background in the tech sectors of London and Cambridge combined with roots in Darlington and Newcastle — and direct accountability, since you deal with Andrew personally from the initial consultation and room mock-ups through to final delivery and certificate of authenticity.
We deliberately avoid the disruption of traditional installation services. Bringing external fitters into a corporate environment often requires complex public liability insurance, risk assessments, and downtime. Instead, every Wall Space North subscription includes a specialised, premium self-hanging kit — your facilities team can effortlessly and safely refresh your walls on your own schedule, with zero insurance friction.
Yes. Bespoke commissions are available as an add-on. We manage concept, production, approval and shipping to match your brief and brand.
Yes. Designers and architects can work directly with us to select or commission artwork that fits a client's brief, brand palette and room mock-ups, and can be looped into the same onsite consultation and proposal process used for direct corporate clients.
Standard corporate terms are 12 months per rotation. Custom cadences and multi-site programmes are available for larger clients.
Pricing is quoted per site and per rotation based on number/size of works, framing and installation needs. Annual payment in advance is the standard rate. Monthly instalments are available with a 10% administration uplift applied to the annual fee.
A £50 per item sign-on fee covers manufacture and is payable before production commences. All prices exclude VAT. See the full pricing sheet for tier-by-tier detail.
Yes. After a 12-month subscription you may buy selected pieces via our transparent buy-out option. At the end of your 12-month subscription term, you may purchase any item at 25% of its Stated Retail Value, as recorded in your Schedule of Condition.
Each item is logged on a Schedule of Condition at delivery, which is also used to calculate the 25% buy-out value at renewal. If you have a concern about an item's condition during the term, get in touch directly and we'll deal with it as part of your account — specific terms are set out in your Subscription Agreement.
There's no obligation to continue. As renewal approaches, we'll talk through your options: rotate in a fresh selection, buy out any pieces you'd like to keep at 25% of Stated Retail Value, or return the collection at term end.
Yes. We design scalable programmes with centralised curation, local delivery schedules and consolidated invoicing for multi-site rollouts.
We provide a large catalogue focused on North East England landscapes, urban themes and other curated collections, all exclusively by local fine art photographer Andrew Pounder. Clients can choose from pre-curated sets or work with our curator for bespoke selections.
The standard subscription item is an A3 fine art print with an acid-free mount in an A2 black frame, supplied with a wall-hanging kit. Bespoke sizes and frame styles are available after consultation, along with original commissioned photography for premises with specific requirements.
We can ship framed items UK-wide, but our primary business focus is for North East companies with offices in Northumberland (e.g. Morpeth, Blyth), Tyne and Wear (e.g. Newcastle, Sunderland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside), County Durham (e.g. Durham City, Darlington) and Tees Valley (e.g. Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar).
Standard catalogue deliveries are scheduled within 2–6 weeks depending on availability and site access. Bespoke commissions have longer lead times; we provide a timeline at proposal stage.
The rotating model means the same framed pieces circulate between client sites over their working life rather than being produced once and discarded. Archival, acid-free materials are used throughout so pieces stay in good condition across successive rotations, and framing materials are sourced and reused efficiently across the whole subscription pool.
Book a free consultation or site visit. We'll assess your spaces, discuss objectives and deliver a tailored proposal with visuals, timelines and pricing.
Yes. All images in the Wall Space North catalogue are available to purchase as framed, limited-edition fine art prints, with no subscription required. Outright purchases are available to corporate clients, hospitality venues, interior designers, and private collectors, with UK-wide delivery.
Every purchase includes a gallery-quality archival print, an acid-free mount border, a presentation frame, and a wall-hanging kit. Each piece is hand-signed in pencil on the reverse by Andrew Pounder, stamped with the Wall Space North studio seal, and accompanied by a signed A5 Certificate of Authenticity carrying the artwork title, unique reference number, and limited edition number.
Each image is strictly limited to 50 editions worldwide. Once all 50 have been sold, that image is permanently retired from the catalogue. Edition numbers are issued sequentially and recorded on both the artwork and the Certificate of Authenticity.
