The North East's first art-as-a-service subscription: framed regional landscape and urban fine art photography for your walls, refreshed on a schedule, with zero capital outlay and a clear choice at the end of every term.
Art-as-a-Service (AaaS) is a subscription that delivers framed regional landscape and urban fine art photography by Andrew Pounder to transform your business space. It's refreshed regularly, tailored to your brand, and comes with the option to buy at the end of each annual cycle, complete with a signed certificate of authenticity and a unique catalogue reference. (See also: the short version in our FAQs.)
Fresh inspiration, zero capital expenditure. We provide standard framed photography, up to A3+ size in an A2 frame, and swap the collection periodically to keep your environment evolving. For wall art sizes larger than an A2 frame, or premium framing, get in touch directly and we'll talk through what your space needs.
Treat the art as an operating cost, not a capital outlay — and keep the option to own it outright whenever you're ready.
A one-off £50 per-frame activation fee secures your initial subscription and covers the upfront production of your framed artwork. From there, the subscription includes professional framing, UK delivery, and a refresh of the collection every 12 months, with an option to purchase at 25% of the artwork's Stated Retail Value (as defined in the Schedule of Condition) after the first year — which is a useful lever when you're reporting operating expenditure versus capital expenditure.
Every subscription follows the same six steps, from the first conversation about your space through to the choice you make when the first term ends.
As each annual term approaches its end, you have three straightforward options.
Option 1 — Own your artwork: buy-out after 12 months (CapEx). If you choose to purchase your framed artwork at the end of your subscription term, you'll receive a signed and stamped Certificate of Authenticity, a unique artwork reference number, and full ownership of the frame and print — a capital asset typically valued higher than the buy-out cost. The buy-out price is 25% of the artwork's Stated Retail Value (as defined in the Schedule of Condition), and typically around 25% of your 12-month subscription value per frame. More on this in our FAQ on buying artworks outright.
Option 2 — Refresh & renew (OpEx). Continue your subscription for another 12 months and receive a free image swap for each frame. Your space stays fresh, your artwork updates annually, your operating expenditure stays predictable, and there are no additional setup fees.
Option 3 — End of subscription. If you'd rather not renew or buy, simply arrange collection of the framed artworks with us.
Choose from the catalogue collection flipbooks, or view sample room mockups below to get an idea of how an artwork could look on your walls.
Note: for any displayed image examples larger than an A2 frame, these would sit under a bespoke "premium" subscription selection.
